After iland ended, hanbin continue to trained under belift lab (as of November 2020, he’ve been training for 1.5 years. So he’s still under the same company) There are still some updates regarding about Hanbin and through those small contents and updates, non-fans are getting to know him and supporting him.
One update about Hanbin is: after his elimination, Hanbin dropped a Special Thank you video under CAC yt account talking about how much he thanked people on supporting and loving him. And said he has some plans in the future as he keep in touch with Belift.

Another update about him is the summer camp created by Belift where Hanbin and the rest of the applicants went to trained after the filming of ILAND part one in order to improve their skills and become closer to one another. Note: there are photos were released as well!

The latest update about hanbin is his fan event announced on October 20th 2020 (which surprised and delighted fans because of the sudden release) called HANBIN !00% that happened on October 31st 2020 in V Vietnam (VLIVE). Fans bought tickets to watch this online fan event in order to know the latest updates about Hanbin.
On December 8, an article about Bighit Labels (now known as HYBE labels) New Year Eve Live created by Weverse called "Weve Connected" said Hanbin is performing in the event alongside artists such as Lee Hyun, BTS, Tomorrow by Together, Gfriend, NUEST, Enhypen, Bumzu as well as performances with some Western Artists (Halsey, Steve Aoki and Lauv)
On December 9, it is confirmed by BELIFT LAB that Hanbin will be performing as a preopening performance. His performance was I&Credible! You can check on the performance here
On December 16, Hanbin finally opened his twitter account to interact with Hannies (his fans). He gained 100K followers the same day he opened his account. As of now (December 23), he reached 200K followers. Update: he is almost at 500K followers (as of June 3)

On June 2, 2020 (exactly a year since he was introduced as an ILAND applicant), it was announced that Hanbin left BELIFT Lab. And on the same day, it was said that Hanbin signed a contract with Yuehua Entertainment. Hanbin also posted regarding about this.

PERSONALITY
Hanbin is known both in ILAND and even during CAC as the guy who has this bright personality which was indeed true based from his friends, other applicants and even fans and non-fans. Ever since the beginning of ILAND, he has these bright smile and shining eyes that makes other people smile. He is always has this positive mindset and personality that he applies most of the time during his stay in the show which makes everyone impressed as how he was so determined and passionate to reach his dreams.
Not only that, as the second oldest out of all 23 applicants, Hanbin has shown he’s a reliable hyung (older brother) as he was always there to comfort and help the younger ones when it comes to practicing, comforting them, giving advices, being supportive. Fans also took noticed that he’s so good with hugs and was called as the Hug Fairy at some point in the show as he is shown to be hugging his fellow friends. He also never took side even if there’s conflict between his team, he make sure to understand both side and give the bestest and warmest advice. This also applied when he was still in CAC, his members said that he was always the bridge between the crew and will make sure things would be solve. For that, fans called him an angel.
A lot also praised Hanbin for taking criticisms very well. based from his mentors, he’s the one who always listen and follow what his mentors taught him. Teachers love to teach him because he is willing to learn and is very sincere. He always improved every single day, always been so hardworking and passionate with his dreams.
He also never loses his smile even when he was eliminated from the show. And was the one who comforted his friends in the show before he leave, also said in his special video to support his friends in the finale just like how fans supported him. He was simply genuine happy and sincere on supporting everyone. Doesn’t even hold a grudge at all.
TALENTS (singing, dancing and rapping)
Of course, everyone loves Hanbin for his talents and his never ending improvement that leave so much good impression with fans and non-fans.
Again, Hanbin was known to be a great dancer even way back during CAC trying out different concepts and he nailed all of those performances and always get people’s attention. He is also very charismatic and great with his facial expressions. Also in one of the episode in ILAND, he also said that he learn choreographies fast and easy, which is true and got to teach other applicants the Into the ILAND choreo.
When he entered the show, Hanbin performed Jopping and shown that’s he is good with rapping as he has this good pronunciation and rap tone. People believed he is gonna be a good rapper in the future.
Also even when it’s not his part, he is still seen in his fancams that he’s enjoying the song and singing along with a smile on his face. He is born to be a performer.
When all thought he was gonna be a dancer and a rapper in ILAND, he surprised us with his vocals even way back during his Fire Performance. He was given a high note part and he nailed it. His vocal tone is very unique and is easily get recognized by anyone when listening to some of the show’s songs which also earned him alot of important parts in the studio version of Into the ILAND and I&Credible. Some applicants also said that Hanbin is one of the best when it comes to singing live. He also surprised fans during his fan event when he sang a ballad song and pour all out of his emotions there. Another thing is, not only he can sang some high notes but he can also sings with a lower register voice plus falsetto.
VISUALS
Hanbin is no doubt handsome and has an outstanding unique visual. From having those bright sparkling eyes to those beautiful long eyelashes to having those bright smiles (his charming point by the way!) and to all his fashion style even way back in CAC and in ILAND (although he mostly wear black in the show, but still you get the point, he’s handsome in black shirts) and during his fan event (boyfriend looks yes!) also every single time he post selcas on his twitter, everyone is losing it and attracting non-fans as usual.

LEADERSHIP
His leadership wasn’t really shown much back in ILAND era but we all know he has a dance crew back in Vietnam that he formed and lead on. And again, his members back there always said that he is the bridge in the crew to connect each and everyone. Also back in ILAND episode 2, since he’s the oldest in the ground and learn the choreo easily he was the one who lead the rest when no one knows what do they have to do. Instead of being strict, he is warm as said by CAC.

While waiting for Hanbin and while supporting Hanbin when he was still in ILAND. Hannies did a lot of things to show their support and love for him.
1. Hannies are monster streamers during and after the show. They stream most of his fancams and make it the fastest to get high views. By October 19, 2020 Hannies made it possible for his DNA fancam to reach 1M views (the first ever ILAND trainee to do so) before its second month of release.
Note: Three of his ILAND fancams reached 1M, plus his Special Thanks Video also reached 1M.
2. Hannies are dedicated and passionate voters too. They made it possible for Hanbin to earn a spot for ILAND Part Two, ranked 6th in Global Voting, Ranked 12th overall in Part 2 (episode 7), ranked 8th in the midpoint of the global voting then ranked 4th in the global voting in episode 10 (earning him a debut badge)
3. Hannies are also great at tapping hearts, before his fan event starts Hannies has a goal to reach 100M tap hearts in vlive for Hanbin which was a success. At the end of the event, the vlive reached 144M+ tap hearts.
4. Hannies also put 48 advertisement of Hanbin to promote him during the show in Korea.
5. Hannies were devastated when Hanbin was e-worded but came back with more energy, passion and determination when Hanbin release his thank you video for Hannies.
6. As a result, Hannies start adopting different kinds of animal under Hanbin’s name. The hashtag used for this project/event #HubiZoo
